Thomas Fredrick  Nicholls
Thomas Fredrick Nicholls (Born July 12 1951)passed peacefully at Hill House Hopsice on July 6, 2018 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
A loving father, son, brother and uncle Tom will be dearly missed by his daughters Tara and Ashley (Dunn), Son-in-law Michael Dunn, former wife but life-long friend Mary Nicholls (nee Todd), mother Isabell Nicholls (nee Woodley) sister Peggy Alisch (nee Nicholls) brother-in-law Frank Alisch, brother Douglas Nicholls, sister-in-law Debbie Nicholls, nephews Bill Corless (Tammy) and Brandon Alisch (Tanya) and nieces Jennifer Watson (Will) and Christie Gentle (Mike). Tom also leaves behind great-nieces Phoebe, Madison, Brooklyn and Emma and great-nephews Liam and Cameron.
Tom will also be missed by Mary’s family as he was part of their lives for many years; Anna and Bruce Inglis and their sons Lloyd (Crystal) and Brian (Akiko), Harold and Dawn Todd and their children (Erin, Emma, Cameron, Keri, Brad and Steven), Bill and Barb Todd and their sons Thomas and James, and his mother-in-law Frances Todd.
Tom is recently predeceased by his best friend and room mate Cory Oke and will also be missed by numerous other friends and his well-loved cats Sam, Buddy, Grizzly and Fluffy.
The family would like to give special thanks to all of the staff and volunteers at Hill House Hospice for the wonderful care that Tom received in his time there and the “Hill House family” will always have a special place in their hearts.
The family will be holding a celebration of life Thursday July 12, 2018 at 3:00PM at the Richmond Hill Legion 233 Centre St E, Richmond Hill. A brief service will be followed by food and the opportunity to relax with a drink and share stories about Tom and his life.
In lieu of flowers donations the family would appreciate donations to Hill House Hospice in memory of Thomas.
