It is with great sadness that the family of Luigi "Louie" Giovanni Tomasone announce his peaceful passing on Saturday May 19th, 2018 at the age of 80 after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 57 years to Anna (née Bucci), and father of Maria (Marcello) Vitale, and Antonio (Jeanne) Tomasone. Luigi was the proud grandfather of Diana (Ryan), Amanda, Matthew (Nicole), Katherine, and Laura, and great-grandfather of little Nora. He will be fondly remembered for taking great pride in a hard day's work, helping everyone, for going above-and-beyond for his family, and for always trying to make people smile.

Family and friends will be received at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church, 10295 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill on Tuesday May 22nd, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge.
