Condolences

Condolence From: Carmela Valentino
Condolence: I met Louise when I moved to Walden Pond in 2003. She helped to host the Tuesday Afternoon Tea. She was very gracious and had quite a sense of humour.

On Thursdays, we would watch the Lobby channel to see when the local paper was delivered. When one of us saw it coming, we would call and have a nice phone visit.

I remember that she liked to cook and she always had a good meal at dinner while watching Jeopardy.

She had given up her car when I knew her, but she would walk; sometimes to Loblaws or Main Street Unionville. How I envied her.

I will miss Louise; we would have wonderful phone chats after she moved to Amica.

She always tried to make the best of what life threw at her.

Rest in peace, Louise.
